Kyong Lee- 14 National Head Coach
Kyong has been a Stellar coach for three season, taking her team to Nationals each year.  In
2007, Kyong coached our Stellar 13-1 team to a bronze medal at Nationals!  Last season she
led our 14 National team to a Bronze medal at Crossroads and 4th place at the Northeast
Qualifier.  She is currently the head Varsity coach and Middle School Coach at The Colorado
Springs School.  Kyong was also an assistant and JV coach at Colorado College.

Jenny Whitehead-Robinson
Club Director
Jenny went to Jenison High School in Michigan where she earned All-American awards (1995),
All-State honors (1994 & 95), and was on the Volleyball Magazine Fab 50 list.  She competed with
the Dead Frog Club team where she was named Junior Olympic All-American 1st Team and AAU
All-American 1st Team as a middle blocker.  She went on to play for Michigan State from 1995-98
earning two Big Ten Championships and a Final Four Appearance.  Jen was a team captain, and
ranked in the top ten in blocks, playing middle and opposite.  She graduated with an Exercise Science
degree in 1999.  She transferred to the University of Florida in 1999 and won a SEC Championship.  
Jen was awarded 1st team All-SEC, All-District and SEC tournament MVP playing outside hitter.  
While at Florida, Jen earned a Masters degree in Sports Communication.  She played for the USPV
(US Professional Volleyball) for two years and was a member of the 2001 USA National Team. She
helped USA win the 2001 NORCECA Championships and the Grand Prix Tournament.  She
competed two seasons in Greece where she was the team's leading scorer. Jen is the Varsity
Volleyball coach at The Colorado Springs School.  She is currently running camps and clinics all over
the country for high schools, clubs and colleges.  Jen was also selected as one of the 2005, 2006 and
2007 USA Youth National Program coaches!

Kyle Robinson
Director of Coaches
After leaving to play volleyball at age 17, Kyle has gone on to have a very successful
career. He played for three years at Long Island University where he was an
All-American middle and opposite.  After his last year in 1998, Kyle went to play
professionally in Europe.  He spent his first three years playing in Belgium.  He was
ranked top three in scoring and earned high level league honors.  After his third year in
Belgium, Kyle was asked to join the US National Team.  He played for USA for 2 1/2
years, playing against some of the best volleyball players in the world.  Once finished with
the National Team, he went back overseas.  Kyle played in Greece for two years, earning
top honors as one of the leading scorers in the league.  He played one season in the
Puerto Rican league, again leading in scoring!  He is currently in his second season as
assistant women's volleyball coach at the US Air Force Academy.  Kyle has coached and
assisted with many club and high school teams and offers an extreme amount of
knowledge to any player!

Rick Swan- 12 National Head Coach
Coaching experience:
Head Coach- Colorado College
Rick is ready to coach his third season with Club Stellar.  Last season he led the team to USAV Nationals in their first season
together!  He has led the Stellar 12's to Nationals 2 years in a row!  The 2007 season marks Rick Swan’s tenth as head volleyball
coach at Colorado College. Owner of a 185-89 record (.671) in his nine previous campaigns, Swan has guided the Tigers to a
school record nine consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division III playoffs.  Swan wasted no time molding CC into a winner,
inheriting a team that went 8-17 in 1997 and leading it to the program’s first post-season appearance in six years. Before winding up
with an overall record of 15-11 in 1998, Colorado College climbed as high as No. 2 in the West Region rankings and No. 12
nationally. In 1999, while going 23-6, the Tigers claimed their first NCAA tournament victory since 1990 and finished No. 14 in the
final Division III rankings. They were 21-12 in 2004.
A Colorado Springs native and 1986 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., Swan previously served two years
(1990-92) as head volleyball coach at Webster University in St. Louis, Mo., also an NCAA Division III program. Before coming to
CC, he spent five years as head girls volleyball coach at St. Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs. Swan’s overall record of 131-
17 (.885) with the Pirates included a state 3A championship in 1996, when he earned Coach of the Year honors from The Colorado
Springs Gazette, Denver Post and Rocky Mountain News. St. Mary’s also finished second (1994), third (1997) and fourth (1995) at
the state tournament during his tenure as coach.
Wayne Wetherby- 15 National Head Coach
Wayne has been playing and coaching for the past 19 years.  He played for the CSU Men’s Club Team, from 1990 – 1992, where he was a
defensive specialist and a setter.  In 1991 and 1992, the CSU team made it to Nationals and finished 9th and 5th respectively.  Wayne coached
high school volleyball, as an assistant and head coach, for 12 years.  He has coached at Buena Vista, Rampart, Sierra, and Harrison high schools.  
This is his 3rd year as an assistant volleyball coach at Colorado College.  He has also coached club volleyball for 12 years.  From 1995 – 1997 he
was an assistant coach for the 14-1 and 15-1 teams of the Springs Spikers Volleyball Club.  From 1998 – 2003 he coached for Match Point
Volleyball Club.  He served as the head coach for the 18-2, 17-1, 16-2, 15-2, and 14-1 teams.  From 2004-2006 he served as head coach for the
14-1, and 17-1 teams for Colorado Springs Altitude.  He has taken 3 teams to USAV Nationals.

Tori Hoke’s volleyball background includes 14 years of coaching experience, nine years serving as a club
coordinator, one season each as a club director and region High Performance coordinator, and numerous
years playing at the club, collegiate and adult levels. She earned her USA Volleyball’s CAP Level I
certification in 2005.

Hoke’s coaching experience includes stops at Southwestern Volleyball Club (1993-95) in Creston, Iowa;
Midland Juniors (1996-97) in Omaha, Neb.; and Fusion Volleyball (1997-2007) in Knoxville, Iowa. While
at Fusion, she served as club coordinator from 1997-2006 and club director from 2006-2007. Hoke
directed up to 10 teams every season, in addition to the juniors and adults program. While holding the title
of tournament director for the Iowa Region from 2005-2007, she concurrently held the position of Iowa
Region High Performance Coordinator in 2005-2006.

Among her honors, Hoke earned the
2007 Iowa Region Female Coach of the Year award the 2007
Outstanding Junior Club award
. She was selected the USA Volleyball Robert L. Lindsay
Meritorious Service Award recipient for the Iowa Region in 2005.

Hoke led Southwestern Community College (Iowa) to a seventh-place finish at the National Junior College
Athletic Association Tournament as a freshman in 1993. She still holds the school assist percentage record.

Prior to college, Hoke played club volleyball for River City Juniors 1991-92 and Southwestern Volleyball
Club 1992-93. Her team participated at AAU Nationals twice and participated at the Volleyball Festival. As a
right side player, Hoke led Knoxville High School to two Iowa State Championship appearances in 1991
and 1992.

After college, Hoke has participated in adult club volleyball and attended the USA Volleyball Adult Open
Championships numerous times. She is currently an operations specialist at the USA Volleyball national
office in Colorado Springs.
